"A reconstruction of historical events related to the operations of the Polish Cipher Bureau, this film tells the story of three Polish cryptologists, their roles in cracking the German Enigma machine, and the impact their discovery had on the course of WWII./ After months of toilsmoe calculation, Polish cryptologists succeeded in building a Polish Enigma which was able to read the German messages. Copies of the machine were supplied to England and France. The British constructed an improved version of the machine and, after the war, tried to keep the Poles' contributions from being revealed".
